Stella Polous

Founder & Chairman Emeritus

A co-founder of Alpha & Omega, Stella plays a key leadership role in the company from both a strategic and operational standpoint. As Executive Vice President, Stella ensures that A&O clients receive stellar service by overseeing the administration of the business, including the management of a well-trained and well-educated team of retirement plan professionals. She sees that every team member maintains the appropriate credentials for his or her job and keeps the staff up to date on evolving retirement plan products, regulations and best practices through ongoing educational opportunities delivered online and in the classroom.

With nearly 45 years’ experience overseeing the design and delivery of customized retirement plan solutions for employers and individuals, Stella has the in-depth knowledge and insight to keep A&O at the forefront of the industry for the immediate future and beyond.

Spiro Preovolos

President & CEO

Spiro Preovolos joined Alpha & Omega in March of 2002, and has held several management positions with the company, including Director of Operations, Director of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Strategic Development. As President and CEO, he focuses on the company’s strategic growth, including cultivating strategic partnerships and initiating the development of new products and services to keep the company’s service offerings at the forefront of the rapidly changing retirement plan industry. Spiro also oversees the IT, product management, and sales and marketing functions to ensure PenChecks continues to deliver customized solutions and fast, personalized service to our clients.

Prior to joining Alpha & Omega, Spiro served as a special agent and financial representative for Northwestern Mutual in Los Angeles, selling life, health and disability insurance. He is an Accredited Pension Representative (APR), a designation bestowed by the National Institute of Pension Administrators, and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Southern California.

Zeny Del Mundo, CPA, APA

Senior Operations Manager/Plan Compliance Administrator

Zeny brings nearly 40 years of retirement plan finance and administrative experience to A&O. She currently focuses on enhancing client relations while improving operational efficiencies and compliance to both internal and external rules and regulations. Her broad spectrum of responsibilities includes administration of defined contribution and defined benefit plans, ensuring those plans are in compliance with ERISA, DOL and IRS requirements and that the administration conforms with the provisions of the plan document. Zeny also assists clients with the process of safely closing down abandoned plans according to DOL regulations.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce (graduating Magna Cum Laude with a major in accounting) and is a member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Fiel Barrow, CPFA^®, CFP^®

Senior Investment Advisor

An experienced investment advisor with more than 15 years of finance industry experience, Fiel joined Alpha & Omega in February of 2017. He plays a key role in all aspects of portfolio management and investment selection for current clients, and assists potential clients in understanding their available investment options and establishing new accounts. He also develops investment and planning strategies for retirement plan sponsors and individuals, serves as the liaison between A&O and the custodians of our clients’ assets.

As A&O’s independent investment fiduciary, Fiel supports retirement plan sponsors with the selection and monitoring of their investments, and provides access to a trusted partner by working directly with participants as they prepare for a work-optional life. He also develops and manages personalized strategies for individuals and families to help address their goals.

Fiel earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Executive Financial Planner Certification from San Diego State University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP), a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA), and is Series 65 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Alexander del Mundo, CPA, APA

Senior Trust Manager & Plan Administrator

Alexander’s background in accounting and pension plan administration make him ideally suited to the task of ensuring that A&O client plans and trust accounts are properly administered according to ERISA regulations. He also serves as a Qualified Termination Administrator for A&O clients who want to wind down their company-sponsored plans.

Before joining the A&O team of retirement plan professionals, Alexander served as a Senior Retirement Plan Specialist, Finance Manager and Controller for a manufacturing firm, and Senior Auditor for an accounting firm. A member of the National Association of Pension Administrators (NIPA), he also he serves as president of the Taguig Business Company Association, Chairman of the Board of Unang lingap Kapwa (affiliated with Children International USA), and is the founder of Del Mundo’s Scholarship Foundation.

Sydney Frank

Division Manager

One of A&O’s longest tenured staff members, Frank oversees a number of operational and client service functions. This includes managing the teams that administrate individual accounts and the IRA, Missing Participant and 403B programs. She also has responsibility for reconciliation of accounts and processing individual correspondence for all plan participants.
